有人的地方就有江湖，有江湖就会有江湖传言，同样有Google的地方就有Pagerank，有Pagerank的地方就有Pagerank的传闻，最近Pagerank很久都没有更新，引发众多传言，10.1之前大量说法10.1更新，没更新又变成中秋更新，中秋过去了，依然没更新。
今天终于有网友发现Google员工Susan Moskwa在Webmaster Help论坛中对此事进行了确认。
We’ve been telling people for a long time that they shouldn’t focus on PageRank so much; many site owners seem to think it’s the most important metric for them to track, which is simply not true. We removed it because we felt it was silly to tell people not to think about it, but then to show them the data, implying that they should look at it.
Pangrank已死，洋玩意儿也不用烧纸了，等下一个标准出来吧，下一个标准出来之前，还是关注下各自的sogourank吧。
